BREAKING NEWS!
Half of a shrimp tail was found floating along the bottom of our aquatic section of our terrarium. Our bigger ghost shrimp, has LITERALLY turned into a ghost. However, the smaller ghost shrimp is alive and well, along with our snail (who is slowly making his way up the side of the terrarium). In other aquatic life news, we have our guppie swimming in circles around the algae (which seems to be the same size). We have probable cause to believe that the guppie has somehow killed the shrimp. I mean, the guppie has gotten a litter rounder around the edges... and has turned a little pink/orang-y.

P.S We hypothesize that the current weight (1,556 g) will stay the same because although the soil is absorbing water, the cycle of water is a repeated behavior inside a closed system. The water will evaporate, condensate and go back into the soil as precipitation.
